ARMA 3 is now multi-threaded – 12 years after launch!

New Beta update gives ARMA 3 players a HUGE performance boost – Multi-threading is coming!

ARMA 3 is now over 12 years old, and even now, the game maintains a strong playerbase. There is no FPS that’s quite like ARMA 3, but since its launch, the game has had a problem. The game is CPU-limited. Now, a beta update for ARMA 3 has been released that makes the game more multi-threaded. That’s right, once this update is added to the main game, ARMA 3 players will get a HUGE performance boost.

Until now, ARMA 3 has been a highly single-threaded game. This has limited its performance and has prevented players from playing the game at its maximum settings. Big battles can cause framerates to chug and fly over large areas with high draw distance settings difficult at best. With this beta update installed, the gameplay experience of ARMA 3 has been transformed. Now, the game runs much smoother than before, and players can utilise the game’s higher graphical settings without fear of performance issues. Note that all ARMA 3 players can test this beta now through Steam.

Now that ARMA 3 has become more multi-threaded, it feels like a new game.
