Todd Howard confirms future DLC plans for Starfield following Shattered Space

As part of a recent interview with the YouTuber MrMattyPlays, Bethesda’s Todd Howard has confirmed that planning to release more DLC for Starfield. This year, Bethesda Games Studios will release Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC. Until now, it was unknown if Bethesda planned to release any further DLC for their space-based RPG.

Todd Howard has confirmed that Bethesda are now “planning the one after this”, when discussing the Shatter Space expansion. He reconfirmed later that “there will be another one”. That means that Starfield is definitely getting at least one more expansion. That’s great news for fans of Bethesda’s latest RPG.

When discussing Starfield’s success, Todd Howard stated that Starfield has 14 million players with an average playtime of 40 hours. Since launch, Starfield has received a huge number of free updates, boosting the game’s performance, and adding new features. For example, the PC version of the game now supports modern upscalers like XeSS, DLSS 3, and FSR 3. Beyond that, the game now has improved maps, a creations storefront, and a sea of fan requested improvements.
