Diablo II has arrived on Steam, and it’s Steam Deck Verified
PC gamers can finally download Diablo II on Steam
Diablo II: Resurrected has arrived on Steam, landing in the form of the game’s “Infernal Edition”, which comes with the game’s new “Reign of the Warlock” DLC and its Lord of Destruction expansion. This means that Steam users will be able to enjoy Diablo II’s remastered version alongside new content.
Steam Deck users rejoice, as Diablo II’s Infernal Edition is Steam Deck Verified. This means Steam Deck users will be able to play the game without issues on Valve’s Linux-powered handheld. The game works well with controllers and runs well on Valve’s handheld. Great news for users of PC handhelds.
On Steam, Diablo II’s Infernal Edition costs £35.99 in the UK. This isn’t a bad deal, as on Battle.net the game’s Reign of the Warlock DLC alone costs £21.99. That said, on Steam there is no option to buy the game without this DLC.
Rediscover the dark fantasy classic that defined the modern ARPG genre; fully remastered with a new class, fresh content, quality‑of‑life upgrades, and an overhauled endgame. Chain brutal skill and item synergies, rise in power, and carve through Hell’s armies with up to eight players.
We are aware of an issue impacting Diablo II: Resurrected Infernal Edition bonus incentives for Diablo IV and World of Warcraft, where some players who purchase on Steam may not see these items unlock immediately. Our team is actively working on a fix, and eligible rewards will automatically unlock once resolved.
Note that starting today, Diablo II Resurrected is now available as part of Xbox/PC Game Pass, giving gamers another way to access the game.
