Forza Horizon 6 release date leaks

Forza Horizon 6 is due to launch this May

Accidental leaks are common, and this time, Xbox appears to have revealed the release date of Forza Horizon 6 via an in-game pop-up in Forza Horizon 5. Xbox Infinite has shared the pop-up, unveiling an alleged release date of May 19th. That said, Premium Edition purchasers will reportedly receive four days of early access, meaning the game will first become available on May 15th.

Microsoft plans to dive deep into Forza Horizon 6 and other games at 2026’s “Developer Direct” event. This event should be where Microsoft officially unveils the release date for Forza Horizon 6. At the event, Xbox will also showcase the game’s features and visuals.

Forza Horizon 6 will be set in Japan, and based on the pop-up below, the game will feature 550 real-world cars. Pre-orders will get access to a “pre-tuned and exclusive Ferrari J50” in-game. The pop-up below also confirms that the game will get “2 premium expansions”.

2026 is set to be a big year for Microsoft, with the release of both Fable and Forza Horizon 6. Halo Campaign Evolved and Gears of War: E-Day are also reportedly due to be released this year. Currently, all four of these games are expected to launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC. No plans have been unveiled for PS5 versions of these games.
