Honestly, it is refreshing to see GOG work to ensure that all of the games on the platform remain functional. While Steam is PC gaming’s most popular storefront, it has its issues. Many older games sold on the platform require mods to function correctly. With GOG, an effort has been made to give gamers a hassle-free experience. If you want older games that “just work”, GOG is often preferable to Steam.
