Gears of War: E-Day is coming to Xbox and PC
Xbox Game Studios has confirmed that Gears of War E-Day is coming to PC and Xbox on October 6th 2026. Despite rumours to the contrary, Microsoft isn’t bringing the game to PlayStation 5. Gears of War: E-Day is an Xbox “Console Exclusive” and will not be coming to other platforms.
On PC, E-Day will be available on the Microsoft Store and Steam. As of now, the game has not been listed on the Epic Games Store. On PC, the game will cost £59.99, and the game will be available through Xbox Game Pass on day-1.
Microsoft knows that it needs exclusives to make Xbox succeed. That’s why Gears of War: E-Day will be exclusive to Xbox and PC. This will likely be the first of many new Xbox exclusives. That said, Microsoft has confirmed that Halo: Campaign Evolved and State of Decay 3 will be coming to PlayStation 5.
With Gears of War E-Day, gamers will be able to enjoy a full campaign with co-op, and PVP multiplayer modes. This includes Versus, a 4v4 PVP mode.
