Here’s what you need to run Halo: Campaign Evolved on PC
Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch with DLSS, FSR, and XeSS on PC alongside low-latency modes for all GPU vendors
Halo Studios have officially released the PC system requirements of Halo: Campaign Evolved, confirming that the game will launch with DLSS, XeSS, and FSR on PC. Additionally, low-latency modes are supported on GPUs from all vendors. For Nvidia, there is Nvidia Reflex; for AMD, there is AMD Anti-Lag; and for Intel, there is XeLL (Xe Low Latency). This ensures that all PC gamers have strong upscaling options and responsive gameplay.
Alongside a fully modernised remake of Halo: Combat Evolved’s campaign, the game will include a brand new three-mission adventure with Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson. Gamers will also be able to play the full campaign with up to four players with online co-op. The game’s campaign has been remade with high-definition visuals, updated cinematics, and refined level designs. The game can also include more enemy types, weapons, and other changes, with optional “skulls” modifiers, making it almost endlessly replayable.

Halo: Campaign Evolved PC System Requirements
As a current-gen only release, Halo Campaign Evolved demands modern hardware. The game’s minimum graphics cards are all DirectX 12 Ultimate GPUs, matching the hardware feature set of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X/S systems (which use AMD RDNA 2 GPUs). The game also demands at least 8GB of GPU memory (VRAM).
The good news is that even Nvidia’s RTX 2060 SUPER and AMD’s RX 6600 can run Halo: Campaign Evolved at 1080p 60 FPS. Not bad for such a graphically impressive game.
Minimum (1080p 60 FPS):
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 11
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-10700K
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6600, Intel Arc A580 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super
- VRAM: 8GB
- Storage: 100 GB available space
Medium (1440p 60 FPS):
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 11
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i5-12600K
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070
- VRAM: 8GB
- Storage: 100 GB available space
High – Recommended (4K 60 FPS):
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 11
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 or Intel Core i7-12700K
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 9070 or Nvidia GeForce 3080 Ti
- VRAM: 12GB
- Storage: 100 GB available space
Ultra (4K 60 FPS):
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 11
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X or Intel Core i9-13900K
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080
- VRAM: 16GB
- Storage: 100 GB available space
32GB of RAM is recommended?
At a minimum, PC gamers need 16GB of system memory to run Halo: Campaign Evolved, though 32GB is recommended. Note that 32GB of memory is more than double that of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X console, which must use that 16GB for both GPU and system memory. To put it simply, 32GB of system memory is overkill for all modern PC games. That said, it is possible that this game’s higher graphical settings on PC (beyond Xbox settings) could be memory-hungry.
