Here’s what you need to run Spellbreak, the Battlemage Royale, on PC

On September 3rd, Spellbreak, the spell-slinging Battle Royale, is due to release on PC, offering PC gamers another new take on the genre. Now, the game’s PC system requirements are available to view on the Epic Games Store, confirming that the game should be extremely easy to run on modern gaming PCs.

Within Spellbreak, players will be able to arm themselves with various sets of gauntlets, bestowing upon them the elemental powers of fire, ice, wind, earth, thunder and poison (ok, that last one isn’t elemental). In battle, players will be throwing boulders at each other, creating walls of flame and combining their powers to create more powerful combos. If you hurl a boulder through a flame, you can create a fireball. If you send a tornado through poison, you get a vortex of poison gas. Spellbreak gives its players a lot of options to explore.

With the game requiring an Intel i3 processor and a GTX 640 graphics card, it is clear that Spellbreak will be playable on any modern gaming PC. It remains to be seen if this will translate into a large, stable playerbase for the title, but it will make the game incredibly accessible.

Spellbreak will be a free-to-play title which will feature cross-play, cross-progression and cross-party support across PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Below is Spellbreak’s launch trailer, which showcases the game and the powers that players can possess.
