Metro Exodus Receives New Story Trailer
Metro Exodus Receives New Story Trailer
Earlier this week 4A Games confirmed that the game would support a photo mode on all platforms, a feature that pairs perfectly with the graphical heights that the studio typically achieved with each of their new titles. PC gamers will also be able to utilise Ansel, Nvidia’s in-game photography tool. The trailer below is narrated by Anna, one of the main characters within the Metro game series, discussing her thoughts of the world above the metro, a world which is long forgotten by most.Â
The news this week didn’t stop there, with the game’s latest trailer detailing some of the story aspects of the game, as well as the hardships and enemies that players will face. The series protagonist Artyom and his wife Anna, the “top sniper” of the Spartan Rangers, will journey across the world on a train called the Aurora, placing players in large, open environments while maintaining the series’ typical level structure and linear story structure. Â
 Â
Metro Exodus will release on February 15th and feature support for DXR-based Global Illumination on PC, though this graphical effect will be limited to Nvidia RTX series graphics cards a launch.Â
The Metro series has always offered an authenticity that is often lacking in other post-apocalyptic games, doing its source material justice by portraying the humanity of the characters involved, in both its positive and negative aspects.Â
Metro Exodus is set to be a highlight of 2019 for many PC gamers, especially for those who year for single players story-driven experiences, or those who desire to stress their gaming PCs to their absolute limits.Â
