Resident Evil 2’s “1-Shot” Demo is Out Now!
Resident Evil 2’s “1-Shot” Demo is Out Now!
This demo is available starting today on PS4, Xbox One and PS4, placing players in the shoes of Leon as he enters Racoon City police station. The demo will be removed from Steam, Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on January 31st, with the demo requiring an active internet connection to play on Steam.Â
Gamers will only get one chance to complete this demo, but if they succeed they will be rewarded with a new cinematic trailer for the game, which, unlike the demo, can be played as many times as players want. This trailer will be exclusive to the demo, though you can bet that somebody is going to record it and post it on YouTube within the next few hours.Â
The demo is set to be deleted from all digital storefronts on January 31st, shortly after the game’s January 25th release date, giving gamers a 20-day window to try it out. On PC this demo will support 21:9 monitors, just like the final game.Â
This specially tuned demo allows you to experience the newly reimagined Resident Evil 2, but be warned: whilst you can continue as many times as you like after dying, you’ll only have 30 MINUTES to complete the demo. Take in the horror atmosphere at your own pace, or make a desperate dash to solve all the puzzles Raccoon Police Department has to offer? The choice is yours!
Â
Resident Evil 2 will release on January 25th on PC (on Steam), Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
