Star Wars: Outlaws patch gives PC gamers an FPS boost

Star Wars: Outlaws’ first update delivers increased performance and stability to PC gamers

Ubisoft has released its first major update for Start Wars Outlaws, which promises to increase the game’s stability. This update also promises to deliver “performance improvements and optimisation across the game” for PC gamers, which means that Star Wars Outlaws players on PC can expect FPS improvements. Additionally, the game now has a “VRAM improvement” that will lower the game’s VRAM requirements.

PC gamers with Nvidia graphics hardware can also expect increased graphical fidelity with this update when using DLSS Ray Reconstruction and Frame Generation. This is likely due to an update to the game’s DLSS versions.

At a minimum, PC gamers should expect Star Wars Outlaws to run at higher FPS values on their systems. Below are Ubisoft’s patch highlights for update 1.1.2.

Star Wars Outlaws PC Patch Highlights:

  • Tweaks and improvement on some challenging stealth moments.
  • Cross-progression and saving is now available.
