Update 2.0 transforms Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora gets a major rework ahead of its next DLC
Ubisoft has officially released update 2.0 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, bringing major changes to the game on PC and console. On all platforms, a new 3rd person perspective has been added to the game, alongside New Game+. These options give players a new way to play the game, just in time for this month’s “From The Ashes” DLC pack.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora’s update 2.0 brings significant tech upgrades to PC
On PC, Frontiers of Pandora has been upgraded to support Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 4. This includes support for DLSS Multi-Frame Generation. These changes give PC gamers higher fidelity upscaling options, improving image quality. Furthermore, this update also adds Nvidia’s DLSS Ray Reconstruction to the game, improving the quality of ray-traced effects. Note that this upgrade is not part of Frontiers of Pandora’s patch notes.
From the Ashes launches next month
Alongside the release of Avatar: Fire and Ash in cinemas, Ubisoft are releasing their new “From the Ashes” DLC for Frontiers of Pandora. Note that this DLC will continue the story of So’lek following the game’s main plotline. The RDA has returned with allies in the Ash clan, destroying the western frontier. Players must reunite their scattered family and take revenge on those who wronged them.
