World War Z receives its new The Walking Dead DLC
World War Z x The Walking Dead is now available on PC and consoles
AMC and Saber Interactive have joined forces to launch their new “The Walking Dead” DLC for World War Z. For £7.99, gamers can get access to a new story campaign with three chapters and play as four of The Walking Dead’s most iconic characters.
With this DLC, gamers can play as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, or Negan. DLC’s three story chapters are “The Prison”, “Alexandria Safe Zone”, and “Grady Memorial Hospital”. With this DLC, players can also access Michonne’s Katana, Negan’s Bat (Lucille), Rick’s Revolver, and Daryl’s Crossbow. With this DLC, World War Z’s zombies have also received a visual overhaul to look like The Walking Dead’s “Walkers”. Furthermore, the DLC also includes a new “spiked walker” zombie variant.

Battle for survival against the undead as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Negan in three unique story chapters featuring iconic locations from The Walking Dead. Fight through hordes of dangerous new, slower-moving but no less lethal Walkers across The Prison, Alexandria Safe Zone, and Grady Memorial Hospital with two new melee weapons (Negan’s Bat Lucille and Michonne’s Katana), and two new weapon skins (Rick’s Revolver and Daryl’s Crossbow). But be wary of the new special Zeke: the dreaded Spiked Walker.
At £7.99, this DLC pack is incredibly affordable. Right now, World War Z is also heavily discounted, allowing series newcomers to access the game at an incredibly low price. Since World War Z has been available for free several times on the Epic Games Store, it is likely that many The Walking Dead fans already have this game in their library. While the game is from 2021, it has been frequently updated and improved with both free and DLC content. On PC, the game runs well on all modern gaming systems, despite the game’s huge hordes of zombies. So if you want to give this multiplayer co-op zombie game a try, now’s a great time.
