ASUS ROG Xbox Ally Pricing Leaks – The Most Expensive Xbox…
ASUS’ ROG Xbox Ally X will be Microsoft’s most expensive Xbox system at launch
ASUS’ official Spanish distributor has leaked the pricing of the company’s upcoming ROG Xbox Ally systems, revealing exceptionally high prices for Microsoft’s new Xbox-branded handhelds.
With European prices of €599 and €899, respectively, it appears that Microsoft’s first Xbox handhelds will be very expensive. If these prices are accurate, the ROG Xbox Ally X will be Microsoft’s most costly Xbox system, surpassing the cost of Microsoft’s €599 Xbox Series X. ASUS nor Xbox have officially confirmed these prices.

With these new gaming systems, Microsoft hopes to revolutionise Xbox and Windows. With the new “Xbox Full Screen Experience“, Microsoft aims to boost the performance and battery life of Windows-powered gaming systems. Additionally, Microsoft aims to enhance Windows’ gaming interface, making it more user-friendly with controllers and handheld gaming systems.
If Microsoft’s handheld moves are successful, it will be good news for all gamers using Windows. However, it remains to be seen if Microsoft’s ambitions will bear fruit. After all, it will take more than hopes and dreams to fix Windows’ shortcomings. The success of SteamOS has shown us how Windows’ bloat is holding back handheld gaming. Can Microsoft fix this problem? Let’s hope so…
