DFI delivers AMD Ryzen in a Raspberry Pi-like form factor
At this time, there is no word on pricing for this unit, though it isn’t expected to be cheap. Even so, the fact that this unit can pack a 12W Ryzen Embedded processor on such a small board is an incredible feat on its own.Â
The DFI GHF51 offers users a Ryzen Embedded R1000 series processor, which offer users two x86 compatible Zen cores and a Vega series graphics component. The system will also ship with 2GB, 4GB and 8GB variants, with single-channel DDR4 3200MHz memory.
Storage-wise, the board supports 16-64GB of onboard eMMC storage. This board also features a full-sized Mini PCIe connection and rear I/O options that include Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45), a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C connection and dual Micro HDMI 1.4 display outputs. Â
According to Linux Gizmos, the DFI GHF51 is due to release in Q3 of 2020. More information about the DFI GHF51 is available on the unit’s product page.Â
