Sapphire delivers compact power with its Edge AI mini PCs

Sapphire is using the power of Ryzen to fuel its new Edge AI Mini PCs

Sapphire has just launched a new range of EDGE AI mini PCs, delivering compact performance with AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 series processors. These mini PCs support up to 96GB of DDR5 memory onboard and can feature up to 12 CPU cores and 50 TOPS of AI performance. That’s a lot of performance for such a compact system.

With its flagship model, Sapphire’s Edge AI Mini PC features a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. This gives this mini PC twelve CPU cores and a Radeon 890M GPU. This is the same GPU that powers ASUS’ ROG Xbox Ally X, which means that Sapphire’s Edge AI PC is more than capable of running modern PC games.

Measuring in at 117 x 111 x 30mm, these compact systems can fit virtually anywhere. This allows these mini PCs to be deployed almost anywhere. With DDR5- SODIMM support, three M.2 slots, and a toolless cover design, these PCs are easy to configure and upgrade. By default, this compact PC comes with a Wi-Fi 6E/Bluetooth 5.2 card installed in its M.2 2230 slot. The system also features 2.5G Ethernet, two USB4 ports, and two HDMI outputs.

Sapphire’s new Edge AI mini PC is available in three forms. The only difference between these models is the CPU they contain. Users can choose AMD’s Ryzen AI 5 340, Ryzen AI 7 350, and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. The specifications for these CPUs are below.

Sapphire’s new mini PCs are available as standalone units, allowing users to configure the amount of storage or memory they want. Note that these Mini PCs support both Windows and Linux, making them suitable for most environments (within reason).
