SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless Playstation 5 Headset
Up Close – Packaging and Contents
Certainly whomever designed the packaging knew exactly how to best emphasise the new colour scheme of the Arctis 7P. We have clear product imagery, bold colour stripes and a couple of pictures that show off both the wireless nature and multiple connectivity options available from the 7P.
The cardboard sleeve slides off to reveal a box as bold as it is stark. It’s definitely a statement of intent.
Within the blue box we find the headset itself and its associated cables in a very protective cover with everything in its place and a place for everything. We’ll take a closer look at the headset itself on the next page.
Connectivity is high on the Arctis 7P. Yes it obviously connects to the Playstation 5, but you can use the supplied cables – female Type-C to USB Type-A; Type-C to 3.5mm; male Type-C to Type-A – in combination with the wireless receiver to connect the SteelSeries Arctis 7P to the Playstation 4 or 5, Nintendo Switch, PC or even a Type-C or 3.5mm compatible mobile device. It’s got all the connection options.
We love the attention to detail here. SteelSeries logo is nearly always their white logo reminscent of the ‘alien corn circles’ that dominated conspiracy sites for years, on a black background. Here it’s in Playstation blue on a white background that stands out against the black ski goggle style headband.
