be quiet! Light Loop 360 CPU Cooler Review

Conclusion & Video Review

Our thoughts on the be quiet Light Loop 360mm

Overall, we are impressed with be quiet’s new Light Loop 360mm liquid cooler. It may not feature fancy new features like inter-connected/daisy-chain fans, but it performs well and is reasonably priced.

For AMD Ryzen users, the inclusion of an offset mounting option is a godsend. With our Ryzen 9 9950X this feature gave us a 3.5 degree drop in load thermals, which is a big deal for those who want the lowest thermals from their CPU. Not many CPU coolers ship with this option, giving be quiet an advantage over their rivals. If future Ryzen CPUs don’t need this offset, users can simply mount their coolers with no offset. With AM5 being AMD’s newest long-term socket, it is good to see that be quiet didn’t go the “always offset” route. After all, AMD’s CPU designs could radically change with Zen 6 and beyond.

If you are a fan of RGB lighting and want a quiet system, the be quiet Light Loop 360 is a strong option for you. It isn’t the best performing AIO in the market, but it isn’t overly expensive either. Overall, it is a cooler that has a strong value proposition, and an excellent aesthetic, provided you like the idea of RGB lighting.

For Ryzen users, the addition of offset mounts elevates this cooler above many of its peers. It is overkill for AMD’s Ryzen 9700X, and does a great job taming AMD’s higher core count Ryzen 9 models. Without a doubt, this new CPU cooler deserves OC3D’s seal of approval. In fact, I think this cooler deserves the OC3D Innovation Award due to its inclusion of its Ryzen offset mounts. Why don’t all modern liquid coolers ship with this feature? I don’t know, but be quiet has it, and we love it.
