MSI Maestro 500 Wireless Headset Review

Introduction

The MSI Maestro 500 Wireless Headset is the newest addition to MSIs burgeoning headset range. It’s been many years – before the end-times – since we’ve been able to review one. We’re keen to find out how they’ve progressed.

Probably the biggest thing about the Maestro is that MSI have designed it squarely to do everything. Often a manufacturer will aim at gamers or audiophiles. Sometimes the connectivity it highlighted as suitable for people who own many consoles. Very rarely will a company point out everything their product can do. Perhaps it’s because we’re all aware that a jack of all trades is a master of none. With the newest MSI headset the price is low enough that connecting in every possible way is very much an unexpected boon.

Add to that active noise cancellation and you’ve already got a headset which does more than most. MSI even promise up to 90 hours of play time from a single charge. Something we’re definitely interested in checking. Let’s take a look shall we.
