Cooler Master left us in awe with their RTX 50 series GPUs and coolers
Cooler Master showed us a range of custom RTX 50-series GPU heatsinks at CES 2025
One of the biggest surprises of CES 2025 was Cooler Master’s GPU plans. Yes, that’s right! Cooler Master has plans for the GPU market. At its CES Showroom, Cooler Master displayed multiple RTX 50 series GPU coolers, and they looked incredible.
These GPU cooler designs are all engineering samples. As such, we should not consider these “finalised” heatsink designs. Sadly, Cooler Master has confirmed that these heatsinks will only be available inside Cooler Master’s pre-built PCs. However, we hope that this is a sign of things to come from Cooler Master.
RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 GPU heatsinks shown
On display were RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 heatsink designs. These heatsinks were all triple-fan cooler designs, with their thickness being defined by the size of the fans installed inside them. Yes, this GPU cooler supports various fan options, adding a neat level of customizability to these heatsinks.
Cooler Master’s GPU heatsinks were all satisfyingly weighty and had metal shrouds. Honestly, these heatsinks were the most robust GPU heatsinks that we saw at CES 2025. This saddens us, as these Cooler Master RTX 50 series GPUs will not be available as standalone products.
Thin or thick fans – RGB or non-RGB – your choice
Below, we can see Cooler Master’s GPU heatsinks with both thick and thin fan options. Users also have the option to install RGB or non-RGB fans on Cooler Master’s GPU coolers. Even non-Cooler Master fans are supported.
Below, you can see the underlying heatsink of Cooler Master’s RTX 50-series CPU designs. We can see a lot of heatpipes and a lot of fins. Sadly, we were not told many specifics of this GPU cooler design. Regardless, that is a fairly meaty heatsink.
Cooler Master, you need to release your own RTX 50 series GPUs
If Cooler Master built and released GPUs with these heatsinks, they would have some of the best-looking and well-built graphics cards on the market. While it makes me sad knowing these GPUs will be exclusive to Cooler Master’s full system builds, I’m also excited to see where Cooler Master’s GPU ambitions lead.
I’d love to see these GPUs released as standalone products. These coolers have what it takes to sell well to system builders. I’d also bet that some people would love to see these as “heatsink upgrade” options for other GPU designs.
Cooler Master has wowed us with these new GPU cooler designs, and we are happy they will be coming to market. All I will say to Cooler Master is that we want to see a standalone release for these GPUs. We love these GPU heatsinks so much that we are giving them one of our “Best of CES 2025” awards. Cooler Master discrete graphics cards is a product line that we want to wish into existence.
