MSI MPG VELOX 300R AIRFLOW PZ Case Review
Conclusion
Another solid case from MSI
MSI has created a solid case with their MPG VELOX 300R AIRFLOW. It ticks all of the right boxes for anyone who needs a new PC case. If you want airflow, Project Zero support, and features like a GPU holder, this case is a great option.
In our cooling tests, the MPG VELOX 300R consistently delivered strong levels of cooling performance. Clearly, MSI’s custom dual-layer fans do a great job of pushing air into this enclosure. If you want even more airflow, you can easily add up to eight more 120mm fans into this case.
The MSI VELOX 300R AIRFLOW PZ isn’t just a “fanboy case”
There was a time when you would only buy a branded PC case if you wanted to build an “all-[insert brand here] PC”. MSI are proving that PC builders can now create all-MSI PCs without compromises. The VELOX 300R is a solid PC case, and while it costs a lot at £139.99, it remains a good option.
Our only complaint about the new 300R is that it is a tad generic. However, we think that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The case’s unique fans give it a different look from most similar cases. Features like its GPU holder welcome additions for users of large graphics cards.
There’s a lot of competition in this area of the PC market, and MSI has proven that it can deliver cases with a selling point outside of its MSI badge. The MPG VELOX 300R AIRFLOW is a solid product, and one that is worth considering. That said, it faces stiff competition.
