Our CPU temperature testing is a juxtaposition between best and worst case scenarios. We run a seriously heavyweight CPU cooler, which shows the best use case, and then torture the system for 30 minutes to get our peak reading. Otherwise known as the worst case scenario. With AMD dropping the TDP significantly for the new Ryzen 9000 series processors it’s clear that, at stock, they run cool.
