Overclocking

As you would expect to find from any ROG branded product the Strix-E is more than capable of pushing the Ryzen 9 3900X to it’s limits, which in this case is a 4.4 GHz overclock across all twelve cores and we also managed a 100% stable 4400MHz on the memory! In all of out testing thus far performance increases tail off beyond 4000MHz with memory but nevertheless 4400MHz is still a crazy speed o be achieving benchmark stable.
