It shouldn’t be a surprise that a motherboard at this price point and with this level of dedication to providing gobs of performance to the most demanding power user that the ASUS Z270 WS pushed our Intel Core i7-7700K to 5.1GHz and kept it there comfortably throughout our testing. An excellent overclocking experience. It’s amazing what you can do with quality components. With our early board and BIOS 4000mhz memory was also an easy achievement without dropping performance which is another big tick on our investigation list.
