Front panel connectors are always extremely handy to have and the B760 chipset gives us USB 3.2G2 Type-C and a USB 3.2G1 Type-A. You can also see the PCI release button that saves you having to poke lollipop sticks down the side of your graphics card if you want to swap it out.

We’ve got four SATA 6Gb/s ports on the Strix F, although they’re all mounted horizontally they are individually split. Nice if you’ve ever grown tired of having to take one latched cable out to free the drive beneath.

Stopping off at the middle of the motherboard, as well as the PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot (1 of 3) there are two fan headers squeezed in below the LGA 1700 socket. Plentiful cooling options make us happy users.

The bottom corner is slightly neater than the full range of things you get on their Z790 models, but you’re still not left wanting. From right to left we have the front panel headers that connect your case to the motherboard, two more system fan headers, a Thunderbolt (USB 4) header, and the USB 2.0 headers that are mainly used for RGB/AIO control these days.

Moving along, the last two RGB headers for the AURA lighting are found here, as well as another fan header, before we reach the SupremeFX ALC4080 audio. That comes complete with ASUS Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3, as well as a Savitech SSV3H712 AMP. Nice.

Power is one area where you would expect ASUS to go all in, particularly when you reach the ROG brand. The Strix B760-F has a 16+1 60A power stage to push all the current your 13th Generation Intel CPU desires. You can see from the highly stacked heatsinks that VRM temperatures shouldn’t be an issue, especially as a similar design tamed 100+A VRMs on the beefier models.

Lastly around the back we have display outputs, six USB 3.2G1 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2G2 Type-A and the speedy 3.2 G2x2 Type-C port. 6E WiFi and 2.5G LAN handle all your networking needs, and those who like to push their rigs to the limit will appreciate the BIOS FlashBack and Clear CMOS buttons being mounted here too.
