ASUS ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi Preview
Introduction
ITX motherboards might not be everyone’s cup of tea but they are also the least amount of motherboard you can get away with whilst still having all the features that the average user might need. We can’t be the only people who have multiple PCI Express slots that basically exist to gather dust, especially in these times where multiple-GPU setups are no longer needed.
ASUS have added the ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming WiFi to their new AM5 lineup, and it has a huge amount of interesting features that might be enough to tempt you, even if you usually go for a full size motherboard. With support for USB 4, PCI Express 5.0 and M.2 PCIe 5.0 there is no lack of bandwidth.
Whilst ASUS are being more cagey about their hardware pre-launch day, we can still get a good feel for the latest Strix ITX motherboard with our usual combination of experience and clues.
