Overclocking

It’s not surprising given what we’ve seen so far regarding the quality of components ASUS have installed on the Maximus VIII Extreme that it is capable of some serious overclocking performance. In fact our Core i7-6700K is usually only good for 4.8GHz before it loses stability, but the M8E managed to take it up to 4.9GHz whilst also having 3700MHz DDR4. For most of you that will be enough to have you reaching for your wallet. But let’s see what the “build and go” performance is like.
