EVGA X570 Dark Review

EVGA X570 Dark Review

Introduction

It shows how fast the hardware world moves that we’ve barely got settled with the X570 chipset and its incredible levels of performance, both in processor capability and the hugely desirable PCI Express 4.0 speeds, than it’s being shuffled towards the background as DDR5 starts to trickle on to the market and there are whispers of PCI Express 5.0.

As anyone who is running a system that isn’t at the leading edge of technology will know, just because something isn’t the latest and greatest doesn’t mean that it hasn’t got any longevity as a platform. Not that we’re remotely suggesting the new EVGA X570 Dark isn’t on the leading edge, merely pointing out that just because it’s appearing near the end of the current generation of AMD products doesn’t mean that it won’t give you years of happy service.

In fact so much that has been learnt across the lifespan of the X570 range and their own EVGA motherboard designs that this EVGA X570 Dark could well be considered to be the ultimate expression of the form. The last time we saw this many bells and whistles we were at a Steam Train weekend.
