When it comes to our gaming benchmarks we’re always looking for chinks in the armour rather than expecting any massive differences between each setup. After all, these are so GPU limited that motherboards and processors don’t have a large effect.

Demonstrating how GPU limited the Fire Strike test is the 4K test scores higher, just, on the stock system when compared to the overclocked and it’s a similar story at 1440P. Only at the regular 1080P test does the clock speed make a minor difference.
