VRM and Power Draw

How to get to the bottom of the inconsistent performance in one fell swoop. The lack of heatpipe connecting the small VRM heatsink to the big heatsink on the IO portion clearly has an effect here, with the VRMs reading some seriously toasty numbers. This will force the chipset to lower the overclock and thus affect the scores we saw.

That temperature might be a side-effect of the huge power draw numbers we see, even at stock. All those LEDs obviously have an effect.
