The Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master X continues a trend we’ve seen across the latest Z790 motherboards by pushing Cores 4 and 5 to 6 GHz without any intervention on our part. All we’ve done for our testing of the Aorus Master X is the same as we’ve done in our other Z790 reviews. Namely undervolt the Core i9-14900K to help keep temperatures under control. In this case down to 1.3V.
