We had a feeling that the speed of the DDR5 kit – remember these are early editions – will be balanced by the well-honed DDR4 but we didn’t expect the results to be this close. When you’re dealing with a single second the difference is basically the difference between two runs. Only the 4K result on the DDR5 setup is faster enough that we’d consider the platform a boon, but still not game changing.
