CPU Temperatures

Pushing either of the 10th generation of Intel CPUs to their overclocking limits runs into heat limitations more than silicon ones. Should you want to go chasing 5.5 GHz or above overclocks then you’ll need a serious dedicated watercooling setup, as even our Corsair H150i hasn’t quite got enough to really tame it all. Not that our overclock is exactly shabby, but pushing all the cores at these speeds all the time clearly brings the temperatures up higher than leaving the CPU to automatically boost as necessary.
