If you’re a big fan of that specific genre of games which require you to setup very accurate supply lines – Anno 1880, The Settlers, Industry Giant etc – then Factorio will be very familiar to you. It’s the perfect test of how much processing power you have, and we’ve got a benchmark that is an extremely stiff test of even the most powerful setups. We were hoping the Core i9-14900KS would match the excellent performance of the regular K, but Factorio is so stern that even our final cooling solution wasn’t enough. Toasty processor is toasty.
