Processors are never the most interesting things to photograph. However, the Core i9-14900KS somewhat earns its price tag with the packaging on our Special Edition.

Within the blue box is a chrome replica of a silicon wafer. The thing from which all Intel processors are made. It’s definitely eye-catching and perfect “on the shelf” material.

After taking the lid off our Core i9-14900KS, we required a simple cooling option. For reasons we’ll cover in brief here, and at length in the video, we spent a lot of time trying to solve the heat of the Intel 14th Gen flagship. The EK Nucleus CR360 AIO is one of our favourites, and here in Direct Die form it’s extremely easy to fit and just works. Who doesn’t love hardware that just does its job?
