Intel Core Ultra X9 388H Review

Blender

Such is the power of Blender that it’s almost become the standard package for anyone this side of serious professionals. Like Libre Office or GIMP it makes you wonder why anyone would pay through the nose for software when this is so capable. We realise this is ironic given that on the next page we’re testing Maxon’s behemoth. All we mean is that if you want to dip your toe in the 3D waters, Blender is infinitely better than you might expect given that it’s free. Casting a quick eye across some previous Blender results, the Intel X9 388H matches very closely to the Intel Core i5-13400 or AMD Ryzen 5 9600. Massively impressive for a mobile CPU.
