MSI MAG Z690 Carbon WiFi Review
Up Close – Packaging and Accessories
MSI have introduced some design touches to the Carbon box, with a selection of squares in various colours rather than concentrating upon a large product shot or something that we mentally associate with carbon fibre.
Inside the Carbon box – by which we mean a box for the Carbon not a literally carbon box, unless you fancy getting in to semantics about cardboard being made from wood which is mostly carbon – we have a large selection of accessories befitting a product which doesn’t sit in the same rarified air of their MEG models, but still is by no means a bargain basement affair.
On the left hand side above you can see the manuals, stickers, driver disk and cable identifiers, as well as an MSI case badge for those of you who like to wear your hardware proudly.
Inside there is a retractable brush (?!), WiFi antenna, SATA cables, RGB and ARGB extension cables, all the things one would expect to find in a modern motherboard box.
For those of us who are regularly called upon to assist with friends and families computers, there is even a keyring sized pair of screwdrivers. Useful.
