Up Close – Packaging and Contents

Straight away we need to tell you that this giant crate is not the standard way you’ll receive the MSI MEG Z690 Unify, but rather the press pack version. However, it’s so lovely that we had to share it with you. It’s a one stop shop to 12th Gen fun and games.

  
  

It’s certainly a physically imposing crate of goodies.

  

Within that we have the MSI MEG Z690 Unify itself, some DDR5 memory, a LGA1700 MSI triple rad AIO and all the things you need to get up and running. It would be cool if these were available to the public. Que sera sera.

  
  

The Unify itself comes in a very mean and moody box, eschewing the usual loud and proud technology stickers that adorn most packaging, instead focussing upon a minimalist approach for maximum intrigue.

  

Around the back though there are plenty of feature highlights and board pictures to ensure you know what you’re letting yourself in for when picking it off the shelf of your local hardware emporium.

  

Inside there is a whole raft of accessories very similar to those we saw with the MSI MAG Carbon; SATA cables, RGB extensions, WiFi antenna, stickers, case badges (in a stealthy black to match the motherboard) and even a cleaning cloth.
