There has been lots of muttering about the performance, or lack of, that Arkham City is capable of. With so much graphics power available this is the time to see what truth there is. And there seems to be quite a bit. Even a single MARS 2 can’t hit the magical 60FPS mark and introducing 3D drops that down to 30FPS. Although it ‘ran’ on a triple-screen resolution it clearly didn’t run well. Or playable. To be honest manually scrolling through frame-grabs in Photoshop would give a more playable experience. Sticking another MARS 2 in doesn’t help matters as we only go from 53 to 58 frames per second. Hardly impressive.
