Does AMD’s Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Q2 2018 driver improve APU performance?

For this line of testing, we decided to try Ubisoft’s latest releases Far Cry 5, a game which was designed with Radeon graphics in mind and had a day-1 driver release from AMD.
In this case, Far Cry 5’s performance is nigh identical between both driver versions, showing that AMD’s Radeon Software Adrenalin Q2 2018 driver isn’t a magic bullet that will always deliver higher performance levels.
