DaVinci Resolve – v16 here – is a video editing and post processing package from Blackmagic Design. This particular test utilises a 8K RAW format video file and filters to demonstrate how the extra memory on the RTX 3090 can be beneficial to content creators. Nvidia have supplied a test video for this purpose, and if you attempt to render it on the RTX 3080 everything just bombs out because the 10 GB isn’t enough to handle it.
