Nvidia’s DSR technology has been letting us ramp up the resolution – and thus sharpness – of titles for many years now. As anyone who has used it will know there is always a performance impact, but with the RTX 3090 you can ramp all the way up to 8K if you wish. Now not every game is exactly going to run like a champ at these settings, but it’s nice to see what is possible, so that you can apply it to less demanding titles.
