MSI MPG 321URXW QD-OLED Review
Conclusion
Conclusion
If you’ve been keeping up with our reviews of the MSI OLED panels then we’re certain you already know what we think of this one. After all it’s basically the white version of the black monitor we’ve reviewed back in April.
We could almost be that brief too. Sometimes products come with caveats. They come with “yes but you have to like x and not mind y” type things. None here. It’s a 32 inch, 4K, 240Hz QD-OLED display. Do you want a 32 inch 4K panel? This is the one for you. Do you need to see every frame of a 240 FPS game? The MPG 321URXW has your back. Perhaps you’ve grown weary of inconsistent backlighting and greyish blacks? QD-OLED panels will 100% be the answer to your prayers.
In fact the only thing you have to be aware of is the standard OLED burn in problem. Even here MSI have gone to great lengths to negate the risks. There is built in software that recognises and dims taskbars and logos. If you watch a lot of media then you’ll also appreciate that you get automatic dimming of the line between the film and the black bars. You’d think by now people would do films in 16:9. Obviously we’d recommend setting your Windows taskbar to autohide, and perhaps try and have a clean desktop, but if that’s too much then MSI have you covered.
The 321URXW If it happens that there is an issue – maybe you’ve got a unique use case – then you get a 3 year warranty. 3 years that include burn in by the way. None of that “oh we only cover manufacturing defects if you brought it on a Tuesday afternoon” rubbish.
There is so much to like about the MSI MPG 321URXW QD-OLED. The image quality is all the greatness you’d expect from an OLED panel. Truly the kind of thing that you need to see to appreciate. Pictures, even videos, will never do it justice. If you remotely care about all the things that we need, deep blacks, pinpoint highlights, rich but accurate colours, this ticks all the boxes. With 4K @ 240Hz you can enjoy any game we can imagine. Nothing really needs faster than 240FPS, and we can’t begin to imagine the kind of hardware you’d need to push Witcher 4 at the full capabilities of this display. Best yet, we just love the white. It’s crisp and alluring, and being fanless, totally silent in use.
The MSI MPG 321URXW QD-OLED looks great whether on or off, and wins our OC3D Aesthetics Award.
