MSI RTX 5070 Ti Vanguard SOC Review
Temperatures and Power Draw
Temperatures and Power Draw
The drivers on modern graphics cards are more willing to cap their performance when you hit thermal limits. This means that, by and large, most cards top out around the 80 degree mark. Power draw is far more important. Thankfully, if the RTX 5090 power requirements worried you, the RTX 5080 was much kinder to your energy bill and the RTX 5070 Ti is more frugal still. As you can see we’re very confused as to why the average boost clock of the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Vanguard was relatively that much lower than its peak. Clearly temperatures are not an issue.
