MSI RTX 5090 Suprim SOC Review

Packaging and Accessories
Don’t panic, it’s an optical illusion. It does look like there are tears and lumps in the box though, huh.
We can never decide if we like the theatre of a box opening, or if we prefer just getting on with things. Complicated box openings are great for content creators. I’m not one of them. Whichever camp you fall into MSI have you covered though. There is some theatre, but you can also get down to business if you prefer a no-frills approach.
In the box you get all the accessories you need to both power the Suprim SOC and keep it from potentially sagging over time.
Both ends of the adaptor cable look good. We’ll always give extra points for a coloured connector. Given how fat the “in” end is with it’s hydra-esque four heads you can see that, for neatness, you’re better off investing in a ATX3 power supply.
And the simplicity of the GPU stand. It’s as little as it could be whilst still being able to do the job.
