Everyone owns Control by now. It’s been around for under a fiver many times and often bundled too. Heck it’s been the Epic Games free game about four times. You know what you’re getting, and you also know that if you want to show off ray-tracing there are few better games. It’s gorgeous, and we have it all turned on.

Cyberpunk 2077

It might have had a catastrophic launch, but endless patches and particularly the Phantom Liberty expansion have made Cyberpunk 2077 one of the best games ever. Full stop. No discussion. It will murder a high end rig, but is scalable enough for cheap and cheerful ones. Witcher 4 might be grabbing attention, but don’t forget about Night City. We need to note that the 2.21 patch
