PowerColor Red Devil RX 9070 XT Spectral White Preview
Introduction and Technical Specifications
Introduction
It’s fair to say that PowerColor‘s Red Devil is one of the cards we always think of when it comes to high performance Radeons. We’ve seen tons of versions, from the first through the RX 480 to today’s model. They’ve always managed to take whatever new idea AMD had and give it their own twist. Given that PowerColor sit with a handful of manufacturers who’ve stuck with AMD throughout their Radeon history, even in the dark days when it seemed like the red team would vanish without trace, that’s a lot of experience to draw upon.
Their flagship model is always named Devil. Sometimes Devil 13. Sometimes Red Devil. There are always horns in there somewhere. There is in fact an all black RX 9070 XT Red Devil already out there, with some extremely speedy performance befitting of such a famous name.
Today though we’re fortunate enough to be able to show their latest creation. Given the wildly popular Spectral White editions of their Hellhound options, one of which we’ve already reviewed, it’s no shock that they’ve applied that Spectral White idea to their Red Devil card. Blending the performance of that famous Red Devil name with the incredible attention to detail of their Spectral White cards, and wrapping it up in the RGB trappings of their flagship offerings.
We can’t yet bring you performance data, but we can give you a sneak peak at the all white powerhouse soon to grace our office. Let’s do it to it.
