To start PlayStation Now users will need to sign into the service, which will require users to either sign into an existing PlayStation network account or create a new one. Then the program will test your broadband speeds in order to verify that you meet PlayStation Now’s networking requirements.

After this test is passed users will be able to subscribe to the service and take advantage of the service’s free week-long trial.

The downside of PlayStation’s free PllayStation Plus trial is that credit card details are required in order to access it, which is a practice used by most streaming services. The same credit card cannot be used with a different PSN account to use the free trial more than once.

PlayStation Now users will be charged for one month’s subscription if they fail to cancel their PlayStation Now subscription before the week-long trial has expired, so be careful to cancel the service at the correct time of you are not happy with it. Users can also access their PlayStation account online and set their PlayStation Now subscription to not automatically resubscribe.

Users can also access their PlayStation account online and set their PlayStation Now subscription to not automatically resubscribe, allowing them to access the service without the fear of unwanted/unexpected payments.
