Star Wars: Battlefront – AMD VS Nvidia Performance Review

Star Wars: Battlefront - AMD VS Nvidia Performance Review

Introduction

When Disney bought Star Wars back in 2012 we all wondered exactly what this would mean for the franchise, with new owners things were no doubt going to change and DICE’s Battlefront is no doubt one of the many fruits of those changes, be it for better or for worse.

With the series Canon changing and the new films still not being released EA had a very short leash in order to build their first Star Wars game, firstly it couldn’t interfere with series canon, taking away the option of a story driven single player campaign and it must be something which despite this has to drive interest for both the game itself and the upcoming movies.

What many people believe Star Wars Battlefront is is a Battlefield game that has been set in the Star Wars Universe, after all it is using the Frostbite engine and is even developed by DICE themselves. I can assure you that this game is not a simple Battlefield clone, but something that is very different indeed.
