Star Wars: Battlefront – AMD VS Nvidia Performance Review
Graphical Comparisons – Low, Medium, High and Ultra Detail settings – part 2
This set of screenshots shows you how much things change with distance in Star Wars Battlefront, particularly with vehicles or static items, where some models very clearly change their textures and models with distance. These changes are much less visible at the higher settings and when in First person, but for me it makes the low preset very distracting to play in, as models visibly change far too frequently, especially on the Forest Moon of Endor.
Here is also a good place to see how the reflections in the game change with the graphical settings, where the reflections become much more pronounced at higher settings.
This scene from Tatooine is on of the best looks at how the textures change in the environment at a distance at each graphical settings. If you click and have a look at the below 4K screenshots in their full size you will see the difference in quality in the medium to long distance.
Here you can again see how models and texture change with distance, noticing that in some lower settings screenshots that the turret and the container in the middle distance use different textures and models.
Here you can also see that at the lowest settings that some major shadows are missing and that Aliasing us much more pronounced, making the scene look much worse than it is at higher settings.
